Meet our June 28th Show Trail Judge:
Lisa- Marie Beckwith
 
 

Lisa has 20 years of experience exhibiting all varieties of horses in hand and under saddle from miniatures to drafts! After spending 8 years in a hunter and 4H based program throughout Grade school Lisa began to venture into other disciplines while in college. In college she rode with the Mary Baldwin College riding team and continued hunters but began to try dressage with her lesson horse Jack. While in Graduate School Lisa spent more time doing dressage and even branched out into competitive trail. She also began driving ponies and showing miniatures. Lisa volunteers with the Rocky Ridge Riders 4-H program sharing her knowledge and providing horses and lessons for members of their club. Lisa is the Open Horse Show Assoc. 2012 and 2013 dressage champion, and in 2013 her foal Lilly Ponds Prince Charming was 5th nationally in In Hand Trail and national stallion champion with OHSA. She is also an Open Horse Show Association licensed show judge and an American Competitive Trail Horse Association Certified Lead Judge. Lisa judges nationally sanctioned trail competitions 3-4 times per year judging up to 100 horses per day.

June 28th is approaching quickly, Exhibitor's can EMAIL in their Pre-Entries to Silverstarfarmonline@yahoo.com, Subject: JUNE Show.
All we need is exhibitor and horse/pony names and ages, and the class numbers or names you wish to enter. Please also attach a electronic copy of your horse or pony's CURRENT NEGATIVE COGGINS with your pre-entries. The date the blood was drawn is the date used, not the date it was issued. Any horses or ponies without current NEGATIVE coggins will be asked to leave SSF property immediately.
All you need to do the morning of the show is check in, pick up your back number, and sign a release/wavier and you'll be good to go : )
 
Safety/Health Tip:
 Also any horses or ponies should have proper immunizations prior to show season were they are taken to several different locations and exposed to many different horses and/or other animals or insects of different areas. We do not currently require to see immunization records at this time, but it is good practice to protect our equine companions as best you can when hauling them around to shows : )
