- This show operates under the rules of the AQHA.
- A negative coggins dated within the last 12 months must be presented.
- Pee Wee exhibitors must be under 7 yrs. of age as of 12/31/09.
- Leadline exhibitors must be under 9 yrs. of age as of 12/31/09.
- Youth exhibitors must be under 19 yrs. of age as of 12/31/09.
- Junior horse must be under 5 yrs. of age. Proof of age is required. Horses born prior to 1/1/05 are not eligible.
- Novice Horse must not have won 3 blue ribbons in the previous year and must be in their 1st or 2nd year of showing.
- Novice riders must not have won 3 blue ribbons in the previous year and must be in their 1st or 2nd year of showing.
- The show manager reserves the right to split, combine or cancel classes.
- The judge’s decision is final. Any act of discourtesy towards the judge or show staff will result in forfeiture of fees and dismissal from the show grounds.
- Leadline and Pee Wee exhibitors may not cross enter into a class where they would be asked to t or J/ C or L.
- Anyone can go into a class unjudged after the class fees are paid. This is for experience and will not result in a ribbon or points.
- Hardhats are required for all hunter exhibitors, ASTM approved are required for youth exhibitors.
- Jackpot classes will pay back 40% to the 1st place exhibitor.
- Payment in full or an open check is required at sign in.
- There is a $50.00 bad check fee.
- The barn is off limits to exhibitors, please be attentive to your children’s whereabouts.
- All dogs must be on a leash.
- Patterns for all pattern classes will be available at the judge’s booth at sign in.
- The parking area is where horses graze, please pick up your trash and put it in the bins provided.
- Class fees are $8.00 per class, $7.00 with a current 4H card. Pre entries are available on our website www.silverstarfarmonline.com.
- The whole division must be paid if you ride in one class and scratch the others unless either you or your mount are physically unable to continue.
- Points are as follows: 1st-7, 2nd -5, 3rd-4, 4th-3, 5th-2, 6th-1. Ribbons will be given to 5th place.
- Divisions are: classes 5,6, and 7 for12 and under, classes. 8,9,and 12 for Youth Hunter. 10, 11 and 12 for Adult Hunter. 13, 14 and 17 for Youth Western. 15,16 and 17 for Adult Western. 17, 18 and 19 for Junior Horse. 21, 21 and 23 for Novice Horse. 24, 25 and 26 for Novice Rider.
