Boarding



Conveniently located in Spotsylvania County, Silver Star Farms offers a 120ft x 240ft Lighted Outdoor Ring, a 60ft Round Pen, spacious 12x16 stalls, 2 private paddocks, 2 larger paddocks for 2-3 horses, and 2 large pastures! Along with boarding, Silver Star offers training, lessons, sales along with two annual show series.

Full Care Stall Boarding Available at $350 a month includes:
*Turnout *Water *Stalls Cleaned Daily *Hay & Grain Twice Daily

Additional Fees:

*Blanket Fee: $5 a day (for changing blankets)
*Holding Fee: $10 per horse (for vet and farrier visits)

Ring Rental:
If you need extra practice before a show, don't have a ring of your own, want to school some green horses, or even hold a show our ring is available!

        • Practice Rental: $10 (for an hour per horse)
        • Show Rental: $250


        Training & Lessons

        Training Information:

        Trainer: Karen Jasinski is a current member of AQHA, APHA, and VQHA. With over 15 years of experience in Hunter Pleasure, Jumping, and Western Pleasure! Specializing in training and conditioning horses of all ages and breeds for show or sale. Karen is always looking to learn more and has worked as an assistant to more seasoned Quarter Horse trainers in the state. References available upon request!

        Training package: $550 a month (price includes board). Horses are worked 4 to 5 days a week! Includes grooming daily! Private turnout. Training horses are required to stay a minimum of 60 days! Lessons are offered to the owners of horses in training and encouraged!


        Showing Information: Karen Jasinski also offers her services as a Professional in the show ring. Whether or not your horse is currently in training with her, she will gladly show your horse for you for $60 a day. Horse owners are also responsible for paying gas mileage, meals, and all entry fees (and/or other show fees!).

        *Coaching fee: $20 at schooling shows, $35 at rated shows.


        Lesson Information:
        *Lessons are available in Hunter Pleasure, HUS Equitation, and Western Pleasure to boarders! Lessons are also offered to outside riders but must own your own horse! Lessons are $35 for an hour session. Group Lessons are also available (limiting 3 per group) at $30 for an hour session.
